Giuglini, Antonio
Giuglini, Antonio, Italian tenor; b. Fano, 1827; d. Pesaro, Oct. 12, 1865. He studied with Cellini, making his debut in Fermo. He was highly successful in London when he sang at Her Majesty’s Theatre in 1857; also sang at Drury Lane and the Lyceum there. In 1865 he was in St. Petersburg, where he displayed symptoms of mental aberrations. Upon his return to London, he was committed to an asylum; in the same year he was taken to Pesaro, where he died.
