Koželuh, Jan [ Johann Anton Kozeluch] (b Velvary, 1738; d Prague, 1814). Cz. composer and organist. Taught in Prague. Kapellmeister, Prague Cath. from 1784. Wrote operas, church mus., bn. conc., pf. conc., etc. Known as ‘the masterly contrapuntist’. Cousin of Leopold Koželuh.
