Lauro, Antonio, Venezuelan guitarist and composer; b. Ciudad Bolivar, Aug. 3, 1909; d. Caracas, April 17, 1986. He studied in Caracas. He wrote much guitar music, including a Guitar Concerto (Caracas, July 25, 1956, composer soloist), a choral symphonic poem, Cantacharo, several symphonic suites, choruses, and songs.
