Le Sage de Richée, Philipp Franz, French-born German lutenist and composer who flourished at the close of the 17th century. He publ. a notable collection of 98 pieces engraved in French lute tablature and arranged in 12 suites as Cabinet der Lauten, in welchem zu finden 12 neue Partien, aus unterschiedenen Tonen und neuesten Manier so aniezo gebräuchlich’ (Breslau, 1695?).
