McKellar, Kenneth
McKellar, Kenneth, Scottish tenor; b. Paisley, June 23, 1927. He took a course in philology at the Univ. of Aberdeen and received a B.S. degree; then studied voice at the Royal Coll. of Music in London. He subsequently sang with the Carl Rosa Opera Co. in London; later toured the U.S. as a concert singer. He was also a fine interpreter of traditional Scottish ballads, which he included in his concert programs.
