movable-doh. A term applied to that system of sight-singing in which doh is the name applied to the keynote of every major scale, ray to the 2nd note, me to the 3rd, and so on—as distinct from the fixed-doh system in which C is, in every key in which it occurs, called doh, D called ray, and so on.
