Mustafà, Domenico
Mustafà, Domenico, Italian castrato soprano and composer; b. Sterpara, near Perugia, April 14, 1829; d. Montefalco, near Perugia, March 18, 1912. He entered the Sistine Chapel Choir in Rome in 1848, being the last castrato employed there. He later served as its maestro di cappella (until 1895). Among his compositions were much sacred music and various songs.
