Radó, Aladár , Hungarian composer; b. Budapest, Dec. 26, 1882; killed in battle near Belgrade, Sept. 7, 1914. He studied in Budapest and Berlin. His works include 2 operas, The Black Knight (1911) and Golem (1912), Sym. (1909), Hungarian Concerto for Cello and Orch. (1909), 2 string quartets, and String Quintet. He also publ. several albums of piano pieces and song cycles.
