Rendall, (Francis) Geoffrey
Rendali, (Francis) Geoffrey , English organologist and librarian; b. Dulwich, Sept. 20, 1890; d. London, Dec. 3, 1952. He received training in clarinet at Charterhouse School and in classics at Cambridge (M.A., 1914). He was on the staff of the British Museum in London, where he later served as Keeper of Printed Books. Rendali was the author of the valuable study The Clarinet (London, 1954; 3rd ed., 1971).
