Sendrey, Albert Richard, American composer, son of Aladâr Szendrei ; b. Chicago, Dec. 26, 1911. He studied in Leipzig, Paris, and London. He was an arranger for film companies in Paris (1935–37) and London (1937–44) before settling in Hollywood in 1944. Among his original works are Oriental Suite for Orch. (1935), 3 syms., piano pieces, and cello pieces.
