Tátrai Quartet. Hung. string quartet formed by Vilmos Tátrai in 1946 from soloists of Budapest Municipal Orch. Won 1948 Bartók Comp. Toured Europe 1952. Salzburg Fest. 1966. Recorded complete cycles of Beethoven and Bartók qts. Had repertoire of 360 compositions and gave 64 f.ps. of Hung. composers and 54 of foreign composers.
