10 Base 2 An Ethernet connection method using RG58-AU coaxial cable and operating at 10 Mbps (sometimes known as Cheapernet or Thin Ethernet). Using a bus topology there each connection to a computer's network card is made by means of a ‘Tee connector’. The transceiver is built into the network card.
