Purpose: To develop the potential of outstanding, young scientists and encouraging research in liver physiology and disease. Focus: Medical Research. Qualif.: Applicants must hold a M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent. Criteria: Awards are made to eligible institutions and are for salary support only for the awardee.

Funds Avail.: $225,000. To Apply: Applicants may must download an application form online. Applicants must submit an application which contain the following section: Application Information; Summary and Abstract; Biographical Sketch; Research Plan; Research Facilities; Candidate's Statement; Letters of Commitment; Letters of Recommendation; Institution Review Board; Signatures. Purpose: To support investigational work relating to liver physiology and disease. Focus: Medical Research. Qualif.: Applicant can be a faculty member at any level. Criteria: Award is made to eligible institutions. There are no restrictions on how the monies are to be used on the research but no indirect costs are provided.

Funds Avail.: $100,000. To Apply: Applicants may download an application form online.
