Description: State-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of University of Hawaii System. Awards certificates, diplomas, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1954. Setting: small town campus. Total enrollment: 2,409. 1,163 applied, 99% were admitted. Full-time: 1,025 students, 56% women, 44% men. Part-time: 1,384 students, 70% women, 30% men. Students come from 12 states and territories, 32 other countries, 1% Native American, 2% Hispanic, 1% black, 57% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 3% international, 40% 25 or older.
