Description: State-supported, 2-year, coed. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1958. Setting: 109-acre small town campus. Total enrollment: 1,297. Community Environment: Madison is located in a rural area with a temperate climate. Railroads and buses serve the area along with three highways. Community facilities include a public library, hospital, ten churches, and major civic and fraternal organizations. Within easy reach are large shopping and cultural centers. Recreational facilities include a golf course, recreation center, and many facilities for all water sports. Part-time employment opportunities are limited.
