Ohio Association of Broadcaster's Kids Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To encourage high standards of professionalism in the industry; to foster a stronger relationship between higher education and the profession; to promote a greater understanding of the ethics and societal responsibility of broadcasters; to support potential and commitment in promising future broadcasters; to advance a continuing commitment to diversity in the industry. Focus: Broadcasting. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school seniors who are children of a full-time employee of an OAB member station; must plan to enroll in a postsecondary institution. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.
Funds Avail.: $1,500. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form; a two page essay; a copy of high school transcript and one letter of recommendation. Deadline: March 28. Contact: [email protected].
