Miss Marple
Miss Marple a fictional detective created by Agatha Christie (1890–1976), whose apparently gentle existence as an elderly spinster in an English village (St Mary Mead) is belied by her frequent and successful investigations into murder and other crimes. She typically solves mysteries by comparing actions and events with her knowledge and experience of village life.
