Azay-le-Rideau
Azay-le-Rideau (äzā´–lə–rēdō´), village (1993 est. pop. 3,116), Indre-et-Loire dept., N central France, in Touraine. It is the center of a wine-producing area and has a canning industry. Its famous Renaissance château (1518–29), set in a beautiful park on the Indre River, now houses a museum of Renaissance furniture and art.
