Eutychides (yōōtĬk´Ĭdēz), fl. early 3d cent. BC, Greek sculptor from Sicyon; pupil of Lysippos. Records exist of several of his works, among which the best known is Tyche or Fortune, personifying the city of Antioch. The allegory is carried out in detail, as may be seen in a marble copy in the Vatican and in numerous statuettes. The identity of the statue was established through copies on coins issued by Tigranes, king of Armenia.
