Piermaria Rosso di San Secondo (pyĕr´märē´ä rôs´sō dē sän sēkôn´dō), 1887–1956, Italian writer, b. Sicily. His sophisticated plays include Marionette, che passione! (1918) and La bella addormentata [sleeping beauty] (1919). His novel La fuga [flight] appeared in 1917 and Banda municipale, short stories, in 1954.
