Tumaco
Tumaco (tōōmä´kō), city (1993 pop. 58,436), SW Colombia, a port on the Pacific Ocean. It is located on a small island just off the coast and has a very hot climate. Tumaco is a lumbering and mining center. Coffee, cacao, tobacco, vegetables, and other products of the interior are exported.
