Württemberg-Baden
Württemberg-Baden (vür´təmbĕrk-bä´dən), former state, c.6,060 sq mi (15,700 sq km), SW Germany. Stuttgart was the capital. The state was formed after 1945 and comprised the northern parts of the former states of Baden and Württemberg. In 1952 it became part of Baden-Württemberg.
