Aṣṭapadī
Aṣṭapadī (Pañjābī, ‘eight stanzas’). A poem of eight or occasionally more verses. In the Ādi Granth, within each rāg the Gurūs' aṣṭapadīs are grouped between the last chaupad and the first chhant.
