Bahir, Sefer ha
Bahir, Sefer ha (Book of Light). An early Jewish kabbalistic work. It was ascribed to R. Nehunya, and it is an anthology of statements attributed to various tannaim and amoraim; probably it has been handed down in a mutilated form. It is the earliest work which deals with the sefirot (divine attributes) which are given symbolic names.
