Hyposittidae (coral-billed nuthatch; class Aves, order Passeriformes) A monospecific family (Hypositta corallirostris), comprising a small, blue-grey bird that has a short, stout, hook-tipped, coral-red bill and a black face. It feeds on insects by climbing up trees. Sometimes it is included in the Vangidae or the Sittidae. It occurs only in Madagascar.
