Lemuroidea
Lemuroidea (cohort Unguiculata, order Primates) In some classifications, a superfamily comprising the lemurs and lorises, placed together in a separate suborder (Strepsirrhini) of the primates. In other classifications lemurs and lorises are linked with the tarsiers into the suborder Prosimii. The lemuroids appeared in the Eocene and closely resembled their living descendants.
