Ultisols
Ultisols Mineral soils, an order identified by an argillic B soil horizon with a base saturation of less than 35%, and red in colour from iron oxide concentration. Ultisols are leached, acid soils, associated with humid subtropical environments. See also RED PODZOLIC SOILS.
