College of Buddhist Studies
An educational facility associated with the International Buddhist Meditation Center in Los Angeles. It was founded as the College of Oriental Studies by the Venerable Thich Thien-An (1926-1980) and offers a curriculum in advanced Buddhist studies leading to ordination to the Buddhist priesthood. It is currently headed by Thich Thien-An's successor, the Venerable Karuna Dharma. Also associated with the center is the Thien-An Institute of Buddhist Studies. Address: 933 S.
