Arundale, Sybil (1882–1965)

English actress. Born Sybil Kelly, June 20, 1882, in London, England; died Sept 5, 1965, in London; sister of Grace Arundale.

Performed in music halls with sister Grace as the Sisters Arundale; while continuing to work in music halls, appeared on stage as Oberon in Midsummer Night's Dream, Lady Molly Martingale in My Lady Molly, Gina Ekdal in The Wild Duck, Jennifer in The Young Idea; toured Malta with her own company (1931); was a prominent member of the BBC repertory (1939–42); with Herbert Jay, was responsible for building the Embassy Theater (1928).
