Six-time Olympic medal winner, won gold medals in team foil and individual foil in Mexico City (1968), a gold medal in team foil in Munich (1972), a bronze medal in individual foil and a gold medal in team foil in Montreal (1976), and a silver medal in team foil in Moscow (1980).
