English actress. Born Helen Bowman, 1878, in Woolwich, Kent, England; sister of Isa, Maggie and Empsie Bowman (entertainers).
Made stage debut at Theatre Royal in Stratford (1884); appeared in vaudeville and on stage in Water Babies, The Little Minister, The Belle of New York, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oliver Twist, Peter Pan, and title roles in The Lady Slavey, La Poupée and The Casino Girl, among others.
