Dutch-Canadian figure skater and coach. Born Aug 11, 1921, in Amsterdam, Netherlands; children: Petra Burka (figure skater).
Won the Dutch figure-skating championship (1945, 1946); as a skating coach, produced 26 Canadian World and Olympic champions and medalists, including Toller Cranston, Christopher Bowman, Elvis Stojko, and her own daughter.
