Young French wife of Jacques Danton. Name variations: Sebastienne-Louise Gély; Louise Gély; Louise Dupin. Born Sébastienne-Louise Gély in 1777; died at 80 in Paris, 1856; dau. of Marc-Antoine Gély (Admiralty official); m. Jacques Danton, 1793 (guillotined, 1794); m. Claude-François Dupin (prefect, officer of the Legion of Honor, under Napoleon).
At 16, married Jacques Danton; was widowed a year later.
