Goitschel, Marielle (1945–)
French Alpine skier. Born Sept 28, 1945, in St. Maxime, France; sister of Christine Goitschel (skier).
Won a silver medal for slalom and a gold medal for giant slalom at Innsbruck Olympics (1964); won a gold medal for slalom at Grenoble Olympics (1968); won the World championship in the giant slalom and downhill (1966) and the combined (1962, 1964, 1966); won World Cup titles for downhill (1967) and slalom (1967, 1968) and placed 2nd overall (1967).
