At 5, made stage debut in Chicago; made NY debut as Ruth in The Charity Nurse (1903); on Broadway, appeared in Mary of Scotland, End of Summer, The Moon is Down, Dear Ruth, The Big Knife, Wallflower and My Father and Me; made film debut in Sweet September (1935); had her own theatrical company in New Orleans; on radio, appeared on "The Aldrich Family."
