Dutch poet. Born Sept 23, 1930, in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Works include Proeftuin (1953), Warmte, een woonplaats (1961), Vragen stellen aan de stilte (1984), Vlucht stroken van de taal (1988) and Persoonbweijs voor inwoner (1991); translations of poems published in Change of Scene: Contemporary Dutch and Flemish poems in English Translation (1969) and The Shape of Houses: Women's Voices from Holland and Flanders (1974). Won Anna Bijns Prize (1987).
