Noadiah
Noadiah
Biblical woman.
A false prophet, Noadiah was an agent of Tobiah and Sanballat who bribed her to stir up discontent among the people of Jerusalem, and in doing so, to hinder Nehemiah's efforts to rebuild the ruined walls of the city. However, Nehemiah paid little heed to Noadiah or to any of his enemies, finishing the wall in 52 days.
