Agent Cody Banks
Agent Cody Banks ★★½ 2003 (PG)
Muniz is Cody Banks, a seemingly normal 15-year-old kid who lives a secret life as a CIA spy. After training for a few years at a “junior spy” summer camp, he's given his first mission: talk to a girl! He must befriend and protect classmate Natalie (Duff), the daughter of a scientist (Donovan) who's created a nanotechnology that could help villains McShane and Vosloo CONTROL THE WORLD!!! Much junior 007 action ensues, mixed with some quirky comedy and innocent teen romance. “Spy Kids” had more charm, but the target audience probably won't mind the difference. Harmon keeps things interesting for the older set with her vavoomish wardrobe and surprising knack for comedy. If the characters aren't exactly fleshed out, at least the actors playing them seem to be enjoying themselves. 95m/C VHS, DVD .
