Muddled Brit frightener finds young copper John Dark (Goss) being mentored by experienced detective Mortimer Shade (Howarth) as they investigate a series of strange murders. Dark eventually realizes that his partner is committing the crimes; having been taken over by an alien parasite, Shade needs fresh blood to survive.
