Escape Me Never
Escape Me Never ★½ 1947
Flynn plays a struggling composer in this sappy period piece about poverty-stricken artists in Italy at the turn of the century. Flynn falls for his brother's wealthy fiancee (Parker), although he is married to the faithful Lupino. Atypical role for Flynn and definitely not one of his best. Based on the novel “The Fool of the Family,” by Margaret Kennedy and the play “Escape Me Never” by Kennedy. 101m/B VHS . Errol Flynn, Ida Lupino, Eleanor Parker, Gig Young, Reginald Denny, Isobel Elsom; D: Peter Godfrey; W: Thomas Williamson.
