A grand adventure from a story by A.E.W. Mason. After resigning from the British Army a young man is branded a coward and given four white feathers as symbols by three of his friends and his lady love. Determined to prove them wrong he joins the Sudan campaign of 1898 and rescues each of the men fromcertain death. They then take back their feathers as does his girl upon learning of his true courage. Excellent performances by Smith and Richardson. 99m/C VHS, DVD .
