Grace & Glorie
Grace & Glorie ★★½ 1998
Somewhat sappy and predictable story adapted from the play by Tom Ziegler. Aging Grace (Rowlands) is fiercely independent and resents having to have help in her country home as she recovers from a broken hip. But help she gets—in the form of ex-New Yorker turned hospice volunteer Glorie (Lane). Naturally, the younger woman has some hurts of her own to deal with and Grace decides to help her. 98m/C VHS . Gena Rowlands, Diane Lane, Neal McDonough, Chris Beetem; D: Arthur Allan Seidelman; W: Grace McKeaney; C: Mike Fash; M: J.A.C. Redford. TV
