Interview with the Assassin
Interview with the Assassin ★★½ 2002 (R)
Ron Kobeleski (Haggerty) is an unemployed video cameraman who needs cash, so Ron agrees when his loner neighbor Walter Ohlinger (Barry) wants to hire him to record a confession. What ex-Marine Walter confesses to is being the second gunman on the grassy knoll in Dallas and the one who actually fired the fatal shot killing President Kennedy. His story turns out to have enough truth that Ron accompanies Walter to Dallas for a reenactment. But just what did the people who hired Walter want? Character actor Barry is formidable as the ambiguous assassin. 85m/C VHS, DVD . Raymond J. Barry, Dylan Haggerty, Darrell Sandeen, Kate Williamson; D: Neil Burger; W: Neil Burger; C: Richard Rutkowski.
