Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland
Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland ★★½ 1992 (G)
A bland animated tale of a young boy whose dreams take him to Slumberland. There, Nemo unwittingly unleashes a monster from Nightmare Land who kidnaps Slumberland's king. Nemo must then rescue the king—aided by the king's daughter, a comic squirrel sidekick, and a mischievous confrog. Based on Winsor McCay's 1900 comic strip. Has some cute comic moments for the kiddies and, while the animation is better than Saturdaymorning cartoon quality, it's not Disney. 85m/C VHS, DVD. D: William T. Hurtz, Masami Hata; W: Chris Columbus, Richard Outten; M: Tom Chase, Steve Rucker; V: Gabriel Damon, Mickey Rooney, Rene Auberjonois, Daniel Mann, Laura Mooney, Bernard Erhard, William E. Martin.
