Directorial debut of Moorhouse tells a tale of manipulation, friendship, and obsessive love between a blind photographer, Martin, his housekeeper, and the young man he befriends. Martin, mistrustful of the world around him, takes photographs as “proof” of the reality of his life. A chance meeting with Andy provides Martin with his “eyes” and the opportunity to expand his world and emotions—something his housekeeper, Celia, would be only too happy to help him with. Unhealthy triangle leads all three to a reevaluation of their lives. Propelled by terrific performances and enough humor to balance its emotional content. 90m/C VHS, DVD .
