Agus, Giuseppe

Agus, Giuseppe, Italian composer; b. c. 1725; d. c. 1800. He went to England about 1750 and was active as a ballet composer at the Italian Opera in London. He also wrote dances, trios, sonatas, and vocal pieces. Joseph Agus may have been his son.
