Caustun, Thomas

Caustun, Thomas, English composer; b. c. 1523; d. London, Oct. 28, 1569. About 1550 he was made a Gentleman of the Chapel Royal. His fine anthems and services for men’s voices were publ. in Day’s Certaine Notes (London, 1565). He also contributed to Day’s The Whole Psalmes in Foure Partes (London, 1563).
