Daser (Dasser, Dasserus), Ludwig , German composer; b. Munich, c. 1525; d. Stuttgart, March 27, 1589. He preceded Orlando di Lasso as Kapellmeister at Munich to Duke Albert V of Bavaria, holding that post until 1559. He publ. a Passion a 4 (1578), plus motets in the Orgeltabulaturbuch of J. Paix.
