Eller, Louis

Eller, Louis, Austrian violinist; b. Graz, June 9, 1820; d. Pau, July 12, 1862. He studied with Hysel. From 1836 he made tours in central Europe; traveled to Spain and Portugal with Gottschalk. He wrote several effective pieces for the violin, including Valse diabolique and Menuet sentimental.
