Farnadi, Edith

Farnadi, Edith, Hungarian pianist and teacher; b. Budapest, Sept. 25, 1921; d. Graz, Dec. 14, 1973. She entered the Budapest Academy of Music at the age of 9, and studied with Bartok and Weiner. She made her debut at age 12, and was granted her diploma at 16. She made appearances with the violinists Hubay and Hu-berman. She taught at the Budapest Academy of Music, and then became a teacher in Graz.
